About us
Phoenix Mining LLP has subsoil use rights under a number of licenses for exploration of solid minerals in Kostanay and Aktobe regions. The company's activities are focused on the study, exploration and production of rare earth elements.

The company has a number of promising facilities located in Kostanay and Aktobe regions. Our goals are highlighted by comprehensive datasets that have been created over several years and we have a team that has over 10 years of experience in the industry

One of the company's key projects includes deposits such as Loshchinovskoye (Iron) and Talairyk (Rare Earth Elements), based on solid mineral exploration licenses No. 2865-EL dated September 24, 2024, and No. 1069-EL dated December 14, 2020 issued by the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan for a period of 6 years.

Signing of an agreement on socio-economic support for Kamysta
On April 8, 2021, Phoenix Mining LLP and the Akimat of Kamystinsky district signed an agreement on socio-economic support for the local population of Kamystinsky district of Kostanay region.
The purpose of this Agreement is to:
· establish mutually beneficial, cooperative and productive relations between the Parties;
· Establishing relationships through which the Parties can effectively interact on an ongoing basis;
· Working together in a spirit of cooperation for mutual benefit, as well as the social and economic well-being of the local population.
The Parties agree that their common goal is to:
· provide assistance to the local population, as well as
· taking advantage of the results of exploration work in the area and employment opportunities associated with the Project.
To this end, Phoenix Mining will encourage its contractors and involve enterprises of the Kostanay region to participate in the Project, if such enterprises can provide the necessary goods, works and services on competitive terms within a reasonable time frame, approved budgets in compliance with the requirements of regulatory legal acts applicable to the Project and internal requirements of Phoenix Mining.

On April 8, 2021, Phoenix Mining LLP and the Akimat of Denisovsky district signed an agreement on socio-economic support for the local population of Denisovsky district of Kostanay region.

Сorporate acceleration program with NURIS
The innovation cluster of Nazarbayev University NURIS announces the launch of the 7th corporate acceleration program together with Phoenix Mining LLP.
Task: Creation of a satellite image data processing system for the study and exploration of rare earth elements.
The winner of the competition will become a partner of Phoenix Mining LLP and will have the opportunity to realize their potential and ideas in a real project.
The program is open to anyone over the age of 18 and will be held online.

  • TALAYRYK
    Location: located in Amangeldy district of Kostanay region, 100 km southwest of Arkalyk

    Geology: structurally, the site area is located in an area that has experienced tectonomagmatic activation and corresponds to the junction of the regional zone of crushing of the submeridional strike and discontinuous structures of the sublatitudinal and submeridional strike of deep deposition, which predetermine the development of quartz-feldspar metasomatosis with rare metal specialization (Sn, W, Be, Ta, Nb, etc.) and linear weathering crusts. In linear zones, the thickness of the weathering crust reaches up to 100 m or more. Yttrium-rare earth mineralization is associated with linear weathering crusts developed by gneiss-granites and shales.
  • Loshchinovskoye
    Location: lLoshchinovskoye is located in the Pavlodar region, 171 km from the Kzyltu railway station.

    Geology: The deposit is located on the West Siberian Plate and includes sedimentary continental rocks.
    • The ores are found in ancient erosion valleys, providing favorable conditions for development.
    • The main types of host rocks are sands, siltstones, and clays.
    • The mineral and chemical composition includes primary minerals: goethite, leptochlorite, and siderite; and associated minerals: vivianite and quartz.

  • Samat has extensive experience in subsoil use, specialized in various questions, including commercial law and corporate law. He represented interests of many leading international and Kazakhstani companies. In 2010 he actively participated in formation of Kazakhstani subsoil legislation.
